Firstly, a big thankyou to Lillian for favouring my "Poppies Sculpture" with her User Award.

I am staying with the Sir Harold Hillier Gardens "Art In The Garden" Exhibition.
This one is by the same artist who did the poppies, Steve Blaylock, and priced the same (£4,650), and again in stainless steel, which is highly reflectiveTongue! I spent a lot of time waiting for the sun to go behind clouds.
The sky was quite nice, but it was difficult to avoid all the trees. In some ways they add interest, in other ways they become intrusive.
3 versions for you. Again, I just couldn't decide which one to lead with.

"Art in the Garden is a selling exhibition, and is a wonderful opportunity to buy a unique piece of art for your home or garden. The exhibition features a range of local, British and International artists working in many materials from wood, glass, recycled materials, cold cast bronze, stainless steel to ceramics and marble resin. The great range of sculpture on display creates a dynamic exhibition with over 100 works of art on show."

Pamela.

V1 - Love the angle! It's dynamic, alive. And these really need to be seen in a garden context.

V3 for me because it's separated from the b/g. But V1 for the angle. So half a point each.

Hi Pamela, for me it's V3 looks like the new and the old as a trade off or even steel vs the Tree's. Could even be wood vs steel. A very interesting composition non the less ...John

I'm also going with v1 - I like the inclusion of the almost parallel diagonal lines - it works well as a composition Smile

Aren't they beautiful! If they were in my garden there wouldn't be room for anything else - they look quite big... V1 is my fave but its a close thing.

Another stunning shot from Hillier's Pamela. Only sorry I went at the wrong time. I'll have to look at their calendar for a possible next one. Can't decide between 1 and 3. For me they're both fabulous images. Don

Difficult one, Pamela. One the one hand the trees add context, yet at the same time disturb the clean and sharp lines of the sculptures.
V1 for the context and v3 for the cleaner aspect.

I've heard of steel magnolias before but not steel agapanthus!Wink V3 slightly edges it as there are no distracting tree branches getting in the way. I'm sure Mikbee would enjoy this lot were he here to view them as there are specks of rust starting to appear on the petals!Smile
