Another egret picture. One of many taken during a long wait for the kingfisher to put in an appearance. These two kept scrapping, flying off in different directions then coming back for another go.

Egrets living life. Always more interesting than egrets just being. I didn't know they scrapped like that. Those beaks are dangerous. A local bird rescue fellow here tells me to be VERY careful approaching an injured blue heron. Their aim is excellent and they go for the eye as a defense. TG
