This was one of those nights were there was little wind enabling good reflections. I tried several shots but as always some the reflection was slighly lost in ripples, the wheel was burnt out, etc

Lovely crisp sharp image, with perfect exposure. I like everything about this shot ( with the possible exception of the electric sign running down the side of the hotel on the far left which i find a bit distracting. It could be cropped without disturbing the image. )

You make your own comment. A fine night shot other than the wheel, which is a bit too burnt out.

A different view of the Albert Dock and a very good one too.

Nothing you could do about the wheel unless you waited for it to stop to reload its passengers.

Still looks pretty good. You can tone down the wheel a lot, and use a colour filter to make it less obviously burnt. And a little sharpening adds some twinkle to the lights.

All done in the mod.

Willie

Thanks for thoughts. Personally I cannot see much difference, and think the cropping is too tight to the left.

It is helping me to hear other views, and thats what this site is about.
