Thanks for all the comments and votes on my last upload. I'm a bit reluctant to post this since the previous picture still seems to be collecting clicks and I think this one won't do so well (it is cars after all) but here we go anyway.
These are photographs of the Alfa Romeo Sculpture at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July this year, erected in celebration of Alfa Romeo's centenary year. Since Alfas are one of my other enduring passions I couldn't resist taking these.
It was actually quite a challenge to get decent pictures anyway due to the thousands of people thronging about the place and I don't think I've done too badly in the circumstances. A little bit of manipulation in layers to enhance the emphasis on the sculpture is all that I've done here. Otherwise it's all down to my Sigma 10-20, although t also helps that V1 has the photpgrapher doing something unspeakable to the sculpture.
Anyway, I like them and I hope yo do too.
