I have always avoided child portraits, knowing how difficult they can be. However with christmas coming up I thought I'd try and get some photos of my son.
I know I will always have more of a connection with this subject and am therefore biased. However I'd like to think I've caught the fun side of his personality with this. I was trying to blow out the background (he was actually playing on our bed
) to draw the attention to his face. I originally shot in colour, but converted to B&W in LR because I thought it had more impact.
