I bought some neon coloured paint this weekend and had a go with that.
Thanks for looking

I didn't think it would be possible for you to improve these. But this is incredible. There is an extra element of depth about this one. I'll probably look at this 5 times today...
Patrick
An EC! Congrats Marc. This really is amazing. Now I only have 4 more views left today!
Patrick
WOW, this is fantastic, I have no idea how you achieve this and would love it if you could maybe upload a tutorial for us that are unable to get such amazing shots, they really are incredible, I have been watching your portfolio with incredible interest and it just gets better, do let us know if you write a tut! ![]()
Ohhhhh, the black works well. Unfortunately not had time to play and working away until nearly Xmas now. However, I will get around to the challenge. Congrats on the EC, but as Arnie says "I'll be back"
)
You've obviously perfected getting lower down almost level with the drop, very interesting, not managed to perfect that angle yet.
Would be interested in how your set up looks compared with the one I described for the water drops. If you want to upload some images of the setup I can post a blank image and you can use the mods rather than waste a days post. Let me know if you want to, if you don't that's fine.
I took a quick photo of my setup and posted a link to it in one of my previous photos comments section. Here it is again for those that missed it. On this shot the backgound is black Formica rather than the white in the picture. I get the colours by mixing paint from the craft store with water. It's the paint that is usually used for painting those cast plaster/ceramic craft pieces.
I'd be happy to answer any more questions about the setup if anyone has any.
Marc
What a fantastic contraption to make such a fantastic image.
Congrats on the EC
Paul..
Absolutely stunning image; the crown shape has been captured beautifully. Marc this is really inspiring. I'm a freelance and have seen millions of good pictures during my life, but this one is really is an absolute gem. Probabaly far too good to win any comps though. Well done for sharing the set-up; very altruistic.
Just amazing, this one is perfect!, you have some great images with this technique, I must get some of those gizmos and have a play!
Chris.
p.s. is it a Transistor-triggered photogate with delay your using here or a Schmitt-triggered one? (I was looking at the site you mentioned on one of your other piccys)
For home made kit you get excellent results - a lesson to us all I think.
Kris.
Congratulations Marc! I was hoping that these would get the recognition they deserve. Can't wait to see more!
Patrick

David

What a stunner. I think i prefer one of your previous ones though.
Hey Marky, I just saw u'r pf. actually it's not easy to apreciate u'r work. Really really great work
Sorry that i can not comment on each and every one of them. Time doesn't permit that.
But I should say that I enjoyed them a lot. Specialy those crowns.
And more than anythin I really enjoy u'r setup for getting crown shots
.

keep it up
