As I have just finished the "During the war" series, I thought this image was quite appropiate. It was taken a good few years ago (but edited this morning) in Staxton near Scarborough. Thankyou to everybody for your comments and votes on the series..... Very much appreciatedGrinGrin

Excellent image to finish your “During the War” series.
I enjoyed all the images and the toning you gave to them.
My particular favourite was “Home on Leave”

Like a very pleasant slap in the middle of this 'weather' we're having. Well remembered and a beautiful image.

This is good, Diane. Perfectly exposed and composed. Horizontal bands of colour, and not even a cloud in the sky to spoil the clean look.
