A similar one to a previous upload, again an oldie form the hard drive.
This one is a slightly wider view and has the railway worker.
I had alot of problems with the exposure due to the overhead lights giving alot of flare.
Thanks for loking, comments appreciated, lesley Smile

If you had lots of overhead flare you've made good use of it and turned it into wonderful looking smoky steam in light. A beautifully worked image Lesley. ........Sandy

The long exposure has given a ghostly effect to the smoke from the trains as they warm up. Fine work here Lesley.

Very nice Lesley, you have captured the scene well. My dad loved steam trains and had lots of images of paintings which this image reminds me of.

This is superb, wonderful lighting. I feel an improvement could be made though by using the Transform tool in Photoshop to pull outwards the leaning building on the top left of the image. As things are, the right edge looks right but the left edge leans inwards, causing a slight imbalance. Transform>Distort would enable you to alter this and I suspect that will make the image look even stronger.

This is most attractive Lesley. I was looking at it with the bottom cropped off so it was a letterbox style. I quite liked it that way.
