Hello again,
After a week of snow, rain, ice and cold here I am again. At the moment I am diving into my archives, I haven't been working with the camera for quite a while. I thought, once my husband is retired our life is going to slow down - well... I was mistaken.
Anyway, I try to keep dropping in here on regular base this year.
I was thinking to tick off the voting - but I decided to keep it up - cause I think it is a simple way for anybody to just say "hey, I've been here, I've seen your pic and I think it isn't bad at all." ![]()
So don't be shy, keep clicking, even if you don't have the time to leave a comment. I sure appreciate every sign from you.
Cheers for now,
Johanna

Great series, love them all. I too thought I'd have more time, ( to go on EPZ) when my husband retired but as you say it hasn't turned out like that.
Sylvia
Three excellent detail close-ups, V1 being most appropriate today . . .
Keep in touch!
Regards
Bill
You have me twigged correct sure...
If I click I have seen your image.... And read your write up
And liked the picture.
But some days it isn't possible to write a comment.
I thought for a moment that V1 and V2 were the same hook in different weather...
Back before the site decided to have a big make-over every year, there weren't 'votes', the instruction was something like Click here if you like this picture. I still think it was more meaningful.
Moira
V2 for me same as Matt but V3 looks more like the real thing "or what I would expect to see" Barbs is right - sometimes time is limited but we try![]()
Excellent set of images, well spotted and captured
Hugh
I love the snow crystals on this image-- and that glorious hook
Super photography!
For some odd reason ??? I left you a message on LexEquine's image--responding to your comment---
and now I am wondering whay I have missed so many of your images---- seriously busy I guess, I will remedy that!
I'm intrigued by V1 Johanna, that reddish glow makes it look like it's hot, when that obviously isn't the case - strange!
You have three excellent close-ups here, like Hunter at the top, I'm thinking these are all part of an electric fence, like them all so no pick!
Rgds., Jim
PS. Do you still have, and use, the D40? It served you well.
The insulators look like the "jelly Dummies" we used to buy as kids, comforters if you will.
They put these electrified fences up to keep animals in and photographers out.
Good to see you posting Johanna, enjoy the retirement years they're great if you keep occupied.
Keep time foe photography too.
Dougie
