This is Sky TV Presenter Charlotte Jarvis. She came in to see me yesterday to update her portfolio.
This shot is taken through the double doors of the boudoir suite in the studio, with a 1000w Flash Head and barn doors low and almost adjacent to the glass. The glass in the doors is frosted, so there is a little diffusion.

Cheers James. Took me bloody ages to get this shot right. I really wanted it to look like she's alone and looking out of the window for someone, but didn't want too many shadows to distract.
Works well danny Did you get up the lane today to the studio

Top shot Danny... has a real sense of drama to it making you wonder what is the story behind the photo.
