I'm frantically trying to organise and distribute photos I took last season of the boys playing rugby, football and GAA before the new season starts in earnest. As I do so, i'm posting some of my better shots to ephotozine.

I like this one. The title comes from a line in our club's anthem (Alone it stands) which was used as the title in a play about Munster rugby. The guy in blue and white (a Garryowen player) hasn't a chance against these 6 determined Richmond boys.

Another well timed action shot John. I'm not sure that the out of focus figure on the right works for me. I find that it keeps drawing my eye away from the main action. I know you'd have to change the title but would it work cropping him out ?

He's going to take some stopping. I would have used a tighter crop and lost the two lads on the left, the chap on the right adds depth and context.

Thanks for the comments guys - all appreciated. If I was to crop the image, I think I'd be inclined to do it on the rhs. John
