Even-though I get a lot of pleasure from capturing flowers I rarely publicise the fact, "Maybe its that Northern attitude" still running through my veins, spelling out "Men are men, and do manly things etc etc"
Anyway I shall endeavour to upload as many as I can as the days roll on.
Whilst here I shall take the opportunity to thank you all for your most gracious and somewhat humbling comments and votes following yesterdays upload. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that this particular series would be so successful. At is at this point that I would like to show my appreciation my mentioning the following people who very kindly presented me with their much welcomed Users Awards: PinkK (Kaleena), Herge88 (Matthew), Sparrowhawk (Steve), PattiW (Patti) meniko (Meniko) Sweetpea (Lin), Tibetan (Leon) and last but by no means least Canonfan (Jim)
I hope that you all have a great day.
Regards Nathan ![]()

Composed and exposed with professionable skill Nathan.

Trev.
Almost an abstract with those clean lines and blocks of colour - and then the colour drifts into the softness of the background. Clever image.

When I first moved in with Chris, he told me 'it may sound weird for abig chap like me, but I really love flowers, I don't tire looking at them."
that is when I got really interested in them.
Yes, he has a flat cap, too ![]()
Simplistic, but very beautiful and colourful, Nathan ![]()

A beautifully placed flower, Nathan with such lovely colours too. One of my favourite little flowers to get in range of my lens though didn't have many this year, sadly!
Thank you so much for that lovely Mod to my Agapanthus image. I liked the colours and the shapes I'd captured but was driven mad by not being able to sort out the bg myself!

It's a manly thing to upload a flower image, and do it openly, Nathan.
Just as long as you didn't pick it afterwards![]()
'Tis verily a shot of great pleasure and composure.
Malc
A beautiful poppy which you have isolated and photographed so expertly. Even the Big O the most macho of epz males has uploaded a fair few flowers recently!![]()
