A very nice arrangement, Kate, with the more delicate b/g in V 1 appealing to me the more.
Nicely illuminated and excellent detail and colours.
Ronnie.

Both uploads Kate the background is competing with the flowers, V2 is completely dominating and flowers come second, V1 is better with the flowers pin sharp but the pattern on the background is also competing, flowers with plain backgrounds always do well in competition, the funny thing is Judges ask for something new, when you do just that they mark it low, you cannot win sometimes.

Regards

Trev.

v1.. lovely creation. v2 is just a bit too clinical, Kate.

Another two lovely stills. I have to go for V1 as the backdrop is to set off the subject and
V1 is more to this effect where V2 is a bit stronger.
Well down. WesternRed.

Two completely different variants. "What a difference a simply backdrop can make?" Version 1 please Kate.

And a very good experiment it is too Kate. v1 for me - its a little softer and that seems to fit the subject

Lovely images here Kate, with the detail in the flowers spot on. I much prefer V1 today which, IMHO, enhances the flowers beautifully.
