The first of two flower bearing stems to have opened , each stem has four blooms and larger than the other Amaryllis we have.
I bought it at the European Market in York that is now a very busy market to visit.
This particular Amaryllis was sold to me as a pink with white edged blooms, will wait till next year to complain.

Wonderful focus on the anther here, fabulous colours. The fact that you were sold this plant as a red and white one reminds me of when I was sold Brussels Sprouts plants that grew into cabbages! I didn't complain as we ate the evidence.
A gorgeous macro image - such a wonderful colour. Also very much like the way you've composed this.
