V2--- is a black and white variation

The secret heart of the flower. And much as I often love b&w flowers this has to be colour.

Very effective POV of the amaryllis - not an easy flower to get the best out of with such heavy flowerheads. I love the contrasts of red and green but he flashes of light do look good in the mono.
Two winners here I think.

Something this beautiful just has to be in color. I sure wish I had grown some this year, it would have made the winter a lot brighter. More snow predicted for tomorrow!!!!!!!

WOW ! Two very stunning images - somehow, the B&W seems to demand more of my attention - must be the wonderful contrasts. No critique intended here, the soft background could be darkened to add even more contrast in both images.
