Let me say what I really like here, then what I think can be improved.
To me the lighting and exposure looks very good. Again, you have very good contact with Amie, and she appears relaxed. Very good focus and nice and sharp image.
The background seems all too dark to me, my screen here might be a problem for my viewing though.
Also, I'm not crazy about the cut off chair - it might work better if the chair is turned more towards the camera, also I think a pose with Amie more towards the camera would be beneficial.
You might also try a posing stool for another upload, one without a back to it, that way there are no distraction arm rests etc.
I hope there will be more comments on this. This seems to be going in a positive direction forward Hope you upload again soon!
I keep looking at her feet. I really like this though, and being I'm not sure what works and what doesn't I'm just giving you my first impression..............Sandy
Yes in some respects Wefi imo is pretty right ... I think back light is needed to separate the subject from the BG and will help define the chair - also perhaps some light on the bg will help in that respect.
Not overfussed about the cut off chair! .. I feel though the subject is slighty lossed in all that space.
But she overall comes out well
Hi people, thank you stopping by and commenting on my photo, it is very much appreciated. I just had to get those boots in Sandy, I had a similar pair myself many years ago. David, I deliberately darkened the background to hide the creases (not being iron savvy ) and as always your comments and encouragement is appreciated.
