I like this a lot. Good lighting and very telling subject. Im glad you kept it in colour. The pink of her skin compliments the white of her hair and dress. Very nice indeed.

But a pretty damned good pic. Colours and textures work well and bags of detail especially in the dress. Perhaps slightly overexposed bottom left? but I feel an award coming on for this one. Fine work Pooch.

Well spotted Dave lol, your very alert today?? Didnt want to knock the light back anymore, could have done, but I like the glow and I think sometimes rules are there to be broken to favour the ambience.?

Up to your exceptional good standard...The hand and face becomes very strong focal-points surrounded by white. As good as it gets

beauty of a shot, looks like her wedding dress..?
not dusty enoughto be miss Haversham though lol

What an impressive portrait, it reminds me of my grandmother, who as a child could sit on her hair as it was so long. You've really captured the dignity of the sitter - first class...

What a top shot pooch. At first I was going to mention the lack of sparkle in her eyes - but somehow that just adds to the atmosphere of the image...

Superb detail and great handling of the exposure and file in general. I think perhaps she looks a little awkward in her pose - could just be me though. In fact it is - reading the comments above. Smile

Outstanding image Pooch - well exposed to keep the detail in the whites. You've captured her dignity and grace, and a sense of stillness. Job very well done.

An impressive portrait Pooch. I like the eye to camera contact. Good exposure on the dress and I like the dark background.
