Today I got chance to work with one of the best models I've ever met. Very polite, happy to try anything and, as a result, I have a very pleasing selection of photos. Here's one of my favourites.
Red voile draped around her, feathers dropped in randoms spots. Lit with Bowens flash and softbox. Oval lasso, reversed and darkened. Desaturated and then the model painted back using History brush. All done while listening to Hooverphonic.

Beautiful. It's like an old painting by one of the Dutch Masters. John

Pete, thats absolutely fantastic. Love the use of dark and light, the feathers dont really add much for me, but hey, thats that. I also might have been tempted to remove her tattoo around her belly button. The large version is a must. This one drips beauty, nice one.

very glamorous, the tones of the voile blend nicely with the skin tones, even the hair has the copper tint, like it.

Really like this. Great model and lighting, and the fabrics are perfect - they lend a real richness to the image.

That large version is so delicately soft in tones and colors. The belly button tattoo is a bit of a let down for me, but your choice of music makes up for it ;o)

Quite fetching, lovely how the material caresses her form, revealing yet hidden from plain view, and excellent shot. Spot on! Click!!!

Beautiful light you've created, the background feathers are slightly distracting though as I really like the folds of the fabric and the way that they are catching the light,

Thanks all I agree about the tattoo not being ideal. I can't decide about the feathers though. Maybe a cloned version is in order!

Great shot Pete...after all that PS work I'd have been tempted to clone out that tattoo also, but it's a great image nonetheless

Lost me a bit with the tech side of things as I'm not that good in ps, but the model and lighting look great.

She has just enough showing to get the imagination going, which is the sort of image I prefer opposed to full nudes.

Nice work.

I don't want my name mentioned as I'm doing a few things with feathers at the moment and it will look like I have pinched your idea and done it badly...so I was never here and the vote was not from me!
