There's too much empty space on the left and up top - crop tighter and try placing the eyes on top third of the image - the image will be better for it in my opinion. Still gets the vote for the detail in the face and the eyes especially.

I agree with Alistair having tried blocking a bit of it with some card, and if you were being hypercritical it would have been nice to have those eyes looking straight down the lens ... but hey it's better than I could do .

Lovely shot in a perfect setting ... gets my vote too.
