After comments from Paul (Sut68) I reprocessed the original - cheers mate appreciated (well there different RAWs with slightly different composition). But I have tried to bring out more mid tones.
I'm still getting used to this exposure blending milarky.
I wasn't going to upload this for a while. But I've decided to take a mini sabatical. Landscapes at the moment aren't doing it for me, so I'm going to spend the time away on a few more conceptual images and updating my website. So all take care and I will catch up with you all in a couple of months. I'm still up for a few meets etc so if anyone fancies meeting up some time drop me a PM / e-mail.

Intensely atmospheric. That warm apricot glow makes the rock look so cold.

Thanks everyone.
Quote: Can't wait to see your next series, mate.
Thanks Cole, It will be a while - I know what I want to achieve, but I'm having a few problems getting the images in my head into photoshop
but I will get there.
This landscape does it for me. I'd be well chuffed to produce this. Look forward to your return.
Dave
You certainly made the better choice of staying higher up and making the best the earlier morning hues than my choice of going lower Nick, another impressive image.
Hope you not away to long, I know your keen to explore other areas, so go and enjoy, I know you will, speak soon

Big thanks everyone. Yes Les I was lucky. I think you know why I'm taking a break but will keep in touch. It's strange it's the first time I've decided to take a break not losing my mojo ( quite the opposite). - I just have to make time for what I want to do without putting pressure on myself to upload.
Anyway I will catch up with everyone soon.
