Very nicely captured and presented Dougie, dark and very moody, creating a wonderful atmosphere from this amazing place. My thanks for your time to view and for your very kind comments on my previous images, I hope you have a wonderful time on the Isle of Skye, and look forward to viewing your images on your return. Keep well my friend. Bill.

Ah, the eloquence of the single gull.
The atmospherics suggest to me that it is floating on a rising current of air, but I'm probably being naive.
A gorgeous image. Who says colour is always better?

I almost passed this by, because it looks so small as a letterbox, but it is a wonderfully powerful study of impending storm with very subtle lighting. Is that an aircraft in the dark cloud? Not sure but I would love to see this large.

The gull is sublime, a pure free spirit rising above the earth and water.

More Hebridean magic from you Dougie. Very atmospheric and as has been said, the gull is stunning against the sky.

The might of the seagull pales in the face of Nature's forces, Dougie. It seems as though some serious weather is afoot here!
Dark, menacing and threatening. Best to be on solid ground when the weather broke.

Oh well..............................! This one shouts very loud: RUN!
What a great moody sky, still I'd rather not have it when I'm over in March/April.

This is a stunner Dougie and absolutely oozing atmosphere. The bird caught in the sun is a huge bonus to the image.
