This fruity little composition was created in my kitchen yesterday, when I was unable to pop out and have a play due to circumstances beyond my control. However I had great fun experimenting with a, 'Orangement on Pearade', and a whole range of other such images which I will exhibit through the forthcoming week. The set up for the composition was pretty straight forward. Illumination was kindly provided by two simple desk lamps, which were placed either-side and slightly above of the subject. A simple black velvet backdrop, and a polished black marble provided the reflection. The technical bits included:
Aperture: f/22 (to get as much detail throughout the image as possible) I was going to crank it right up to f/32?
Shutter Speed: 30 seconds to allow enough light to pass through this relatively small aperture.
ISO: 100 to produce the best quality image as possible.
Hope you like.
