Nice contrast, the old and the new, the sky has detail but i feel probably there's too much of it, have done a mod and also adjusted the levels and contrast a bit to give more differentiation, hope you approve.
On a side note, while this is good, i feel that maybe if you were to adjust your point of view a little more to the right capturing the entrance to the ruins juxtaposed along with the bus may create more impact

Know the area well. were you on auto, because your wide lens and the sky, which is correctly exposed, has under exposed the foreground making the abbey and, worse, the yellow bus, rather drab.
Not beyond correction, though. Select the foreground and lighten, then add a bit of contrast,

Thanks for the comments all.I think the mod from Focus_Man is an improvement.
I've had a go at livening up the foreground.
I magnetic lassoed everything except the sky (which didn't really work!), then adjustments to levels, shadows/highlights, a touch of saturation, some brightness and contrast and finally some poorly applied cloning to repair the damage I'd done with the lasso!
Given more time, I'd made a tidier job of the cloning and (apologies to Frank), I really couldn't, and still can't, remember how to correct the verticals!
(Thinks; I've got a tutorial somewhere!)

Embarrassing, isn't it ? !
Fortunately, I've found it.
Using CS5; Edit; Transform; Perspective. That lets me pull the image in all kinds of directions. Good for a "folded over" corner effect too.
I've used that tool plenty of times in the past when I had CS2 on here and I assume it was in the same place but last night, I just couldn't think where it was!
