This was shot in my studio for a hair advert. A lot of post production on this one as I used it as an example of beauty retouching on my Photoshop Retouching DVD. You can see the before and after version on my website, on the page about the Photoshop title. It was shot with a Beauty Dish top front, a tri-reflector below the model and a recta softbox from behind on the left. View Large Smile

Stunning image.....signed up to your site and watched some of the vids and can see that you are clearly a master at his craft and has a good rapport with your models to get the best out of them. Someone to aspire to, as well as your images are. Stunning stuff!

Its a great image, although Im not that struck on the haircut. The lighting is very impressive.
I too have signed up to your website, its very informative and inspirational too. Have you thought about running any hands on workshops? Its one thing to watch on a video, another to get the training from a professional. This is something I would be very interested in.

Hi Colin,

Yes we use to run lots of workshops but then we took two years out to produce our DVD project which is still ongoing. I'm working on a new workshops structure for later this year, hopefully by autumn, the details will be posted on the website as soon as they are ready. Thanks for your interest.

Karl.

Wow! Vicki looks great and you have done a great job. Oh, Karl, you must show the people about behind the scenes of your portrait shots. You put a lot of creative ideas and thanks for showing us many of them in your Vids!
