This is one of the two guardian angels for the Hoover Dam.

They are there to protect the dam and have acheived their goal to date.
Their job will be easier from 2009 onwards when a new bridge is built keeping traffic off the dam.

If anyone ever gets the chance to visit this magnificent structure do so and take time to learn how it was built.

Sorry I don't have any decent pictures of the dam, none could do it justice.

Thought I recognised this. Managed to cross the dam 18 months ago, but didn't get the chance to get out onto it - only at a vantage point higher up. Love the angle you've captured here.
