Anne Mellor at the landing stages on Derwentwater. I dare say you've seen her before but we've got snowy tops and glass smooth water. If you need more of a bonus there's v2 taken the previous evening.
Thanks for your attention, your comments are always appreciated.
Like your comp and the good details in the reflections, some nice evening light too
2 excellent images
Super job, hope i get some of this weather next week
my last 4 trips have been mostly wet wet wet.....but still enjoyable
Super light in both but v2 rather special
That hint of mist adds a lot doesn't it...
Pink can sometimes look so incredibly cold.
This is superb.
Two wonderfully composed photographs each comprising of a shedload of gorgeous features and each worthy of so many accolades.
Image number 2 gets my humble vote, simply because of the intense and wonderfully captured light and colours.
What a difference a day makes.
So very cool and smooth. I bet even your little shutter click disturbed the calm of that water.
The Lakes at peace David, winters cloak appearing.
Looks rather chilly, but two cracking shots here, David - and that water in V1 looks like glass
Both beautiful takes David, I'm envious!
