A bridge in Ilkley..
It was made by the Westminsters Engineering Company in 1823.... if my memory serves me well.

CarolG has asked me to tell all she still hasnt proper connection.
I kinda think she isnt at all happy but sadly cant do anything about it.

The back lighting here shows off the structure and all these cables and spars so well in this shot, Barbara.
Very well chosen viewpoint and time of day.
Ronnie.

Fine example of a suspension bridge beautifully captured. Love the angle.

Fascinating, I like your treatment of this, it brings out the structures - in bridge and trees.

This is very eye-catching, Barbara. The strong verticals of the bridge uprights are nicely offset by the two tall, slender trees rising from the valley, while the angle on the curves is excellent.
I find the colour a little unusual, probably because I'm in a bit of a monochromatic mood just at the moment . . . !

Mother Nature fighting back against the straight lines of the bridge structure, man may appear to win but nature always will in the end. Time is on her side.

The bridge looks almost hidden away amongst all those trees.
Looks a fine feat of engineering. Well taken image.
