You have some interesting shots of birds in your pf but these ones of the dipper are unfortunately not to the same quality ... did you use a tripod? If not, then 1/160 sec is probably too long an exposure time without a tripod when using a 600mm focal length. If you did then may be your method of resizing for uploading is the problem.

Your composition is really good with the bird on the third looking into the image so good luck with sorting the rest out. Smile

Hi Gill,
Thanks for looking and for your comments,i did'nt use a tripod it was such a misty day and these were taken in haste using the sports mode as i was trying to be quick and quiet.Will try your suggestion.Thanks again.
