Same building but angel and thus I position to feature some of the FALL COLOURS around it.
T E C H N I Q U E
Seeing various fall colours I found this location to be the best so I zeroed on the location, and once back home I edited using Camera-in-the-RAW fixed the COLOUR BALANCE and made the BLACKS stronger and the opened the image in ADOBE PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 7 resided down to met the requirements of this URL and then fooled around the UNSHARP MASK till I was happy with the results then saved as JPEG format for sharing with you all.

It could make a nice abstract, but right now I think it's a bit in between ideas. It's hard to see what the structure is, or how it fits into the landscape, but there is too much information for it to be abstracted from reality.
The colours are nice, but unfortunately the light isn't, and that's compromised the vibrancy you were hoping to get with those lovely leaves.
Also, not sure what you did in USM, or what the original contained, but nothing on this looks very sharp. With all the small detail here, it looks like it was shot with a disposable camera (which I know it wasn't), so either there was camera shake, or there is some flaw in your processing/upload technique.
There is definitely a picture here somewhere, and the structure looks interesting to explore.
