One of the first images I took at Bushy Park on Saturday morning. The high ISO has created a lot of noise, but I've run it through the Denoiser, hopefully to good effect. I think that's a bird flying away - I wondered whether to clone it out, but decided I quite liked it there - I wonder what everybody else thinks. Comments and criticisms are very welcome. Thanks again for looking and for your precious time.
More thanks are due to Paul (Skeet1Away) and to Walter (gajewski) for their UAs for The starling and the stag and to David (BigBeavis) for his UA for The Boss - they are really appreciated! ![]()

Wonderful atmospheric shot Ann, great composition, beautifully captured
Hugh
The noise here only adds to the atmosphere, Ann, and it would not bother me, nor does the bird flying off......it is so OOF that it's not a distraction for me.
Given the very low light conditions, focussing on the stag must have tested your Canon considerably, but you and it have got things just right.
Love the composition too with the stag heading off stage left but it's head turned to look across the frame.
A very fine shot and one I'd have been so pleased with had I managed such......only I couldn't as I don't have anything beyond 300mm........if I needed a longer lens, I wouldn't have seen the subject in the first place![]()

Thank you Ronnie - I could only get this because of Lillian's kindness in lending me her lens!
the noise and fog all add to make a very atmospheric capture the low flying bird does not distract it adds for me fine capture and a good steady mitt

A lovely atmospheric capture, Ann. The denoise has worked a treat on the background, I can imagine what it looked like before with the low light and 1600ISO.

Quote: A lovely image. I'm pleased you left the bird(?) in. It is something out there in the fog and helps to create the atmosphere of the day. Let's face it, fog is noise, so let's maximise that, I say. ![]()
Near enough what I was going to say..................
Great image

Simply marvellous, Ann. Atmosphere in spades. The bird is no distraction at all as it is so oof.
Well done to both you and the Canon![]()
