This series is and has been very striking Hugh
very difficult to get stained glass looking as good as these in the series
well shot

I liked the oblique angle in the first upload but this one really needs to be head on, straight, as you have taken it. I'm enjoying this series, a lot of thought has gone into the compositions. Making images that work out of a much bigger subject.

Very nice colours. I do a lot of these as we visit a lot of churches when walking. How do you shoot them? I use spot metering on manual. I meter for the brightest part. That has the effect of blacking out the stonework, and showing the glass nicely. Yours has come out well.
