For once a highly original title Wink

Less of the procrastinating - I took the plunge and renewed the e2. (tho a lot of soul searching)

Yesterday, taught me just to enjoy and not worry about triviual things, somethings are far, far more important

Stitched in PTgui (3 images) only because CS5 refused to stitch it (so please have a look at the large version)

EDIT: I'm getting a lot of views, have I missed something? or is it because its a bit dark (on purpose)

The thumb is very dark Nick, I didn't even look on my first gallery scan. Even the large version is a touch dark for me.....but if that is what you wanted then that is all that matters Wink

Not too dark for me, love it! And all the better for the (slightly) darker processing.

'lonely' is a concept in which photography is a great medium to express. I think the colours are spot on to.

Big thanks everyone - and thanks Pete.

I only had 2 minutes of this type of light, before the gloom set in - but in that time I got a few images which I will work.

Looks good to me, - but if a monitor is a little off it could be too dark for some.

Thumbnail looks dark but definitely not when opened. Very well composed and very atmospheric.

A new piece of glass, well you had to road test it and it would be rude not to show us the results.

Congrats on the badge Nick, look forward to seeing one or two others you may just have captured whilst testing the glass.

Lovely image, i wonder if its a bit 'horizon in the middle'. If i had to crop it i'd lose a tad of the bottom and a chunk of the right to lose that light patch of sky.

Thanks Stuart thats a great Idea, tho it would change the mood, less reflective, more dynamic.. but one I will use (I do delibratly use the 50/50 composition on the horizon sometimes, particularly if the main element is on the 1/3s - to create a bit of tension).

Love the mood. I like the darkness behind the statue and the light in front. Although not too light to be too enticing. The light, too, looks dark.

oooh just looked at this on a work, uncalibrated monitor, and it looks very, very dark, probably explains a lot.

My monitor is calibrated and this looks perfect to me. A fine image.
