Sunset on the beach at Crosby, one of Anthony Gormley's statues from his 'Another Place' installation. (Edit) As someone has commented, he could do with a bit of moisturiser, he is covered in barnacle stuff, cos he is quite far out on the beach and gets submerged at high tide. I checked the tide times so we would be there at low tide, and then me and my brother hung around until sunset, playing cricket, using one of these friendly chaps as a wicket - oops, sorry Mr Gormley! No damage done though Smile

A little cropped off top and bottom to make it wider angle, and levels adjusted a little to make it darker.

Glad to see that 'the Gormleys' are still attracting attention. This shot has a great 'end of the day/thoughtful/solitude' feel to it - nicely captured!

(I put sunglasses on mine and someone said it looked like the Invisible Man of Crosby!)
