Our last Camera Club competiton is looming with 3 entries required.. I have already chosen to use 2 of my recent macro shots of the gecko and chameleon and at last have decided to use this image as the 3rd entry...hope I am not making a big mistake, as this image was overlooked by me until now!!

As always thank you so much for looking and taking time to view my image.
Ann.

Good luck in the competition, I really like this image, it is well framed and composed with a good horizon and colour balance and the detail is good showing very clearly the texture of the lichen on the driftwood, the reflection in the water, a really good image.

Looks good to me Ann - maybe just a few pixels for the border if it is digital entries - our judges don't like anything too big or fussy. The upper part of the wreck clear the horizon and there are no distractions.
Beautiful clarity.
Good luck

P.S. Got a 3rd in colour prints and 2nd in mono last week in 'scapes' comp but my other entries were rubbish -
learned lots though. My winning entries were taken in Scotland. The Australian ones - light too harsh.
So good light is everything

That is going to be a fine entry into your camera club competition, long exposure, good composition and subject matter, well thought out camera skills as well.
Good luck and well done, Ann.

This is a stunning image, Ann and is worthy of a competition entry.
The abstract of the wreck and its reflection, against the blue sky / sea is an enchanting composition.
Good Luck..!
