Thank you all for the comments/votes on my Robin upload. To be honest I thought it may have done better as I thought the detail was superb; I am of course biased.

I noticed that for ages now I have been uploading wildlife, so I took a trawl through my images and thought it was time for a change.

Last year my dentist got married and invited myself and Gill to the wedding. What an eye opener; I had no idea that an Asian wedding ceremony would last about 4 hours. The Priest constantly interrupted the proceedings for people to take photographs etc,
this of course allowed masses of time to get lots and lots of lovely images of what is a really colourful affair.

A Hindu marriage symbolizes not just coming together of two individuals, but also the bonding of understanding, commitment, mutual love, oneness and spiritual growth. Traditionally, Hindu marriage is much more than just celebration and fun. It demands sacrifice, companionship, dedication, and devotion from both the partners.

It was truly a celebration of life, excitement and fun. I don’t think I will ever enjoy a western style wedding again.

Anyway I hope you like the image I have selected for you today. A truly beautiful couple I think.

Cheers
Paul

I think all the images you took at the wedding were absolutely superb, but this one I must admit has to be one of my favourites!
Just Wonderful...

Lovely couple - really colourful and delightful shot - perhaps the "western" people should adapt to some of their commitments...... Ina
