Well, here's one for Bill (woolybill1), as I know how much he adores his chips.
I have taken a direct quote from my last upload from Bill:
"I'll promise in return not to risk the chips."
Sorry Bill, I will risk the chips and I have. Someone had to. I do hope this hasn't frightened you to much. You can breath easy, they are not real chips, well they are real chips, just not the kind that we both seem slightly partial to.
This unlike my last upload took forever to capture, about 320 takes to be exact and only one used as per usual. Just don't tell Gill as I used one of her best plates for this. I would like to point out that I am not a gambling man. Honest, what you don't believe me. I bet you.
Actually these chips are from a set that the better half bought for the family to sit down and have a bit of fun with on a rainy. We seem to get quite a few of those just lately.
Hope you like it. Will not be around to much as the better half is off work and we are a little busy. Shall pop in as often as I can to keep up with you all.
Thanks for looking and for any comments.

I like this a lot too - would love to have watched you at work capturing this. In my mind's eye I see you sitting at the table, bumping it with your knee from underneath, then trying to get the shot off in time while the chips are flying - so to speak ![]()

Nice fun shot Andy, hope Bill likes his chips,
Fred.
EPZ is what they call a dedicated photosite, and you are one of the most dedicated members, Andy. Here I am waking up and finding a whole photo dedicated to me!...well, sort of. A bit like the icing on the cake, really - or the vinegar on the chips... ...It just goes to show what you can do with a D40 when the chips are down, or at least on their way down.
Hugely funny, superbly coloured, really well shot. 350 attempts - that's dedication.
It's cauliflower and macaroni cheese tonight; chips are off!
Regards
Bill
Andy, you've made Bill's day. Trouble is, I think he'll want chips tonight to celebrate. I'm not sure that these would deep-fry very well though...
