So, something I had wanted to shoot for so long and I had been tipped in the med it was a great place to see the milky way. I thought it looked good up on the Isle Of Skye and while perhaps on the whole the stars were no more impressive the visibility of the milky way itself almost certainly was. You really could see it with the naked eye stretching across the sky, which made composing for it that little bit easier.
This is a shot back at Aphrodites Rock, I returned back here after visiting Paphos unsure if the skies would be dark enough being near a major city (and airport) but I wasn't disappointed.
Shot using a head torch to light up the foreground and rocks.
