A much softer approach to this delicate flower & a very much lighter texture added.
Lit by daylight against a plain bg.
I love the way the bright yellow stamens make a statement here.

Interesting to know that the other flowers on the same plant were different: this one is so delicately tinted and lends itself so well to the processing you have adopted, resulting in a very beautiful image. Very nicely done, Janet......you should be so pleased with this one. I would be!

That bold splash of yellow stops it all being too pale and insipid Jan. Lovely texture on the background too, subtle and quite complementary. One day dSLR's will come with built in background texturisers then we'll have more time to sip fino and watch the garden grow instead of indulging in jiggery-pokery of the digital kind.
