Hello all, I'm back.
Just got back about an hour ago from Lagos in Portugal where hubby and I had a much needed break and rest.
We were so fortunate in that there was the annual Labour Day weekend / May festival going on, with so many photo opportunities I didn't know which way to point and shoot.
This man was just one of what seemed like hundreds of participants, all dressed up in the most fantastic costumes.
Now that I've downloaded my shots, I think it is time to pour myself a glass of wine, relax and then unpack the dreaded suitcase.

I will have to catch up with all as best I can, please forgive me if I click and run a bit or take a while to catch up.

Great to be back and thanks for your C & C's on my orchid shot.

Welcome back! Super portrait to return with, I like the way the bird has entered into the formality. Best of luck with processing the rest , I reckon the wine should come first.

Sounds like the May festival was the place to be. This is a very unusual portrait, both of man and bird, with a nice clean background and excellent exposure. Welcome back.

Well, Annette, enjoy your wine. Here in the States, it's beer, of course, but each to his or her own. I favor beer for the burp factor, but it's kind of like camera lenses, it just depends on your focus. For what it's worth, I've always considered your's to be "spot on."
