Everything has a front and a back. The back should be next to the right frame edge. Aside from that one niggle, [could be just me and no one else], This image is very good and interesting. TG
Image is floating in the middle. Crop the right side in to near the base of the Arc. TG
Mmm… Have added a version cropped as you suggested. It seems to anchor the Arc more. My impression of the Arc de Triomphe was very much of it being a 4 sided monolith, rather than having a front and back. That's why I didn't take the picture from the top of the Champs Elysées, where you would only have seen the one side (or front) and little of the inside of the arches. Thanks for your suggestion.
Yes, In image two we have more arc and less 'plain' sky.... less bald roadway foreground as well.. although, I may have left a narrow 'black' sliver along the bottom. The image is improved and less mystery on the left side. A sepia version may look good also. May minimize the vacant sky.
It's good that you chose the forward corner as your vertical. TG
