Hi everyone, well out of my comfort zone here but 'had a go' and am quite pleased with the result. V2 is the original shot before I had a mess around with it in PS. I have enabled 'mods' so feel free to do one if you have any other ideas.
Many thanks to those of you that took time out to view and vote on my previous upload and a special thank you to Ron (Maiwand) and John (john_starkey) for the UA's on my previous upload, so much appreciated as always,
Regards,
Geoff.

The focusing is spot on as is the timing. Beautifully captured action shot.
Steve.
The expression on the dogs face is priceless Geoff, excellent photography and excellent Photoshop work.

Trev.
Geoff, this is just amazing! An excellent capture to start with but what you have done in PS is beyond belief! Very well done indeed!

Jon may have been there Ann but I certainly wasn't ![]()
Geoff.
Quote: V2 for me Geoff.
My only niggle with V1 (outstanding manipulation by the way), is the D-O-F seems wrong.
The pole he is jumping over in V2 is clearly in focus, but anything around his leading paws in V1 is not.
Just my opinion![]()
Adrian
I did ponder about that Ade and noticed it after I had uploaded, my thoughts were that as the pole isn't in V1 the area beneath it would have been out of focus, depends on how you perceive the shot I suppose, also V1 doesn't quite portray that the dog is some 2ft above the ground as he jumped, I found the dof part very difficult to sort out but will try a different approach on another image I have,
Geoff.

Sorry Geoff I was thinking of SurreyHillsMan Jon and his dog Pippa - almost identical. Guess I didnt read either the title, or check who posted the picture and generally I do - my most humble apologies.
Ann
an amazing action shot. perfect timing and wonderful POV, great work in photoshop too. except for the bit of green under the ear you can't see a thing... and if you hadn't shown us no-one would have noticed!!
Fabulous shot - excellent work, well done indeed !

A terrific action shot Geoff, brilliant processing work in v1 it looks so natural. Poor old Ann it looks like she is barking up the wrong tree! lol ![]()
No reflection on the work done, but I prefer the original.
An excellent capture.
Ha, ha... this is gorgoeus. This dog reminds me of a person, Archie - I think he was a Montrose from the movie Rob Roy.
Hillarious!
Johanna
