I couldn't think of a comment on the photograph so I did a little research instead. The Saint with the pig at his feet is Saint Anthony, also known as Anthony the Great; in ecclesiastical art, architecture and sculpture many Saints are to be recognised by attributes, usually things associated with their life (or death: St Lawrence of Rome is shown with a gridiron because he was roasted on one . . . .).
At Anthony's attributes are a pig, a book and a tau (T-shaped) cross, all of which can be seen clearly here.

Whew!

Regards
Bill
