Morning all. The lighthouse at Ardnamurchan Point, with a beautiful view over the water to Rhum.
V2 My old Dad who climbed down the steps to get right to the edge. Note the walking stick he carries around at his feet - as usual!
Thanks for C&Cs on yesterday's upload. Catch up later.

PS The piece of kit round my Dad's neck is Nikon, can't remember the model. He has been taking photos for as long as I can remember, and he is now 79. He is only pointing at the islands behind the lighthouse. Chuffed because he is on the most westerly part of the Scottish mainland.

A rather dramatic looking Coastal Landscape adorned by this rather impressive fine and upstanding Lighthouse. And your rather upstanding and rather cheerful looking Dad does not look to bad either.

Regards Nathan

Here I was thinking that was his monopod, Moira, and as Carol says that looks a nice bit of kit around his neck.
Nice to see images from the most western point on the Scottish mainland.
Nicely composed shot at V 1 with Rhum in the distance.
Ronnie.

V1 is potentially a lovely shot but it needs adjusting to get the horizon level and the lighthouse vertical. I would also crop it and frame. You haven't enabled Mods so I can't show you on the site.

Love V2 is a great shot. I'd love to know what he is pointing at that gives him so much obvious joy.

Next stop Canada, a grand place to see Moira and your Dad did well getting down these steps and back up again. I'm guessing he enjoyed the trip with you.
