The Horses were named after these mountains Danny, Foinavon is just around the corner a few miles North.
Tremendous Moira, yes the bridge looks to be linked with an old causeway, but I', not sure, the is angling country so maybe to let boats pass underneath.
Oh aye, now it is clear to me, why Runrig praises the sight of the Arkle. Very imposing mountain. I like the shape of those pines and.... ermh.... is that a bridge in the middle of the water???
Lovely composed image. Thanks my friend for taking me up north. Oh, how I need to have a walk, I'm craving for fresh air and wonderful sights.
Good to have you back!
Johanna
I got some strange looks from the sheep when I was calling your name Johanna. ![]()

Good to see you back and posting Dougie and This a grand shot to set you off again
A very lovely presented composition, may I say you are very lucky to have been able to have traveled to so many places and locations around our country. At times nowadays people find it to easy to jump on a plane and head to the sun, that we forget what's realy on our doorstep. I very much enjoy poping in and out of your p/f having a look.
Paul.
A really strong composition that showcases the glorious light on the mountains slopes. Back with a bang Dougie.
