Using coins to mark the spots that I wanted my hands to apear above, I used the Nikon D3's timer and placed it on a tripod to make 5 captures. I also used three sorces of light in so that the final image, once blended would have realistic shadows of various degrees falling over the subject. Photoshop CS4 was used in the editing of this image. Please feel free to leave a comment whether you like it or not, and why. I'm curious. ![]()

I love it - it's different. I am from movie world background so maybe I am drawn to it because at first it looks like a creature from a sci-fi !!!!, buy mostly I like it because of the movement, shapes and the fab. look over the glasses!!! As a portrait it is great fun, as an image it grabs you to look further.

I like it very much indeed. Plenty of visual impact & drama together with very good technical execution. It looks almost like an impossible Escher picture. The hands really make the picture, together with the look on your face and peering over your specs! I don't think it would work so well in colour.
