magical with that great sky and the rocks in the f/g a little rock pool and wild flowers in the bottom centre - must be a great feeling to be there in real time

I've had very little time for commenting of late but in the earlier upload I remember enjoying the little tufts of thrift, clinging on against the odds. They seem even more isolated in the broader view.

I love this sort of shot, Dougie: brings back such happy memories from my youth when we used to spent hours exploring among the rocks on the foreshore (admittedly in Fife rather than Ayrshire). Very nicely composed shot concentrating on the foreshore, but who could ask for a better backdrop!
Ronnie.

Terrific textures in the rock, and what a fantastic sky!

The detail on the rock and the lichen is superb. You have captured that glorious cloudy sky so well.
