Eldon Square bus station in Newcastle has wonderful artwork - enigmatic silhouetted figures on glass panels, that blend in with passengers.
It also has a very polite but firm No Photography rule, which I enjoy breaking. This was taken while sitting waiting for the number 10.
I have a b&w conversion which works differently for me, so I'm keeping it for another day.
Thanks for looking,
Moira

Oh, I do so love breaking that rule too. Smile An excellent covert shot. It looks as if the person has sort of just left the window and gone shopping or is being stalked.

If I were the lady in front, I'd be looking behind me. There is a great deal of menace in this image - right down to the baseball cap and the hood - which you have conveyed uncomfortably well.

Regards.

For once Moira,I see this as more of a mono image.
And for once again,I see my favourite colour red, being rather distracting here.
(I reckon I must have my ''camera club'' hat on this morning !!)

Breaking the rules worked very well in this case for sure! It seems as the person just left the two companions on the window pane

Neat shot incorporating those symbols, and the curve, adding to the movement of it all.

They do seem to be hustling up behind the real woman.Nothing lie breaking the rules when they are as daft as some we have to live with these days Moira.

Beautifully and surreptitiously captured, Moira Smile

I tend to follow rules but I can't help myself in the face of No Photography Allowed sometimes. If caught, I reckon I'd just go, "Eh? Que??"

I've just gone to the purchase of a Canon G12 to take on vacation - for its size and articulated LCD - and the ability to take photos and not have anyone realize it. The rule to not photograph irritates the h*ll out of me - and I love to break that rule too. I have a friend who is adept at subterfuge with his Iphone - walking around with it up to his ear while he is shooting people Tongue

I'll be interested to see this in mono - but there is something about the blue tones in the glass that speak to me here; that and the way you used the curve at the top and bottom of the glass display in the composition.

Anne
