It has been such a long time since my last upload. Really neat little windmill (no sails unfortunately) in Somerset.

Image slightly cropped to give stronger lead in lines and use the fence a little better - fiddled around trying to make the mill look a little more upright but failed.

Hope you like it.

Cheers

Hi Ketch,

This is really pretty good!
I like the composition, the coulours are good and as you say, the lead in lines work well.
You can straighten it quite easily using the "transform" and "distort" tools as if you were correcting converging verticals.
Hope this helps.

Bern.

Cheers Bern

Thanks for the suggestion (don't seem to have transform on PSP) but did have a go with distort.

The slope is on the hillside and fence, not the Mill so you got a great pic here.

The main subject is tucked away in the right third and makes it a difficult shot to view.

It must be said that art is in the eye of the beholder.

To my eye your windmill is ok as is but you might find shiftn useful (freebie) I use it sometimes for straightening verticals, love the picture - currently E2 featured photo
