Seen on 6th May at Great Torrington. I have seen only a couple of other Orange Tips in Devon and it was a joy to capture an image of this beauty.

You just ain't looking in the right places
You do have a point actually, it's the lack of sun we've been having more than anything else, but they are there to be found if you're lucky enough to get any of that bright thing in the sky.....
Have yet to see one this year. A lovely image.
Beautiful capture. I have only seen one Peacock butterfly so far this year. It was just as I pulled into the carpark at the Hermitage at Dunkeld. Grabbed camera, but it was gone by the time I got out of the car .
wonde4rrful shot i too have only seen a handful of butterflies myself the most memorable one was a Gatekeeper that was in my garden
