One of our Japanese Acer leaves brought indoors and captured in the usual way but with the addition of some artificial back lighting.
My thanks to all who commented so kindly on The Last Tram?
Ronnie.

a leaf on fire!
lovely detail Ronnie, it really looks like a flower.
The colours and exposure are first class Ronnie, when you look at some of the colours out now Autumn does not seem to bad.
Regards
Trev.
Love the diagonal composition and the presentation here (well I would, wouldn't I)?
Wonderful colours and detail beautifully presented.

Wonderful vibrant and saturated colour, Ronnie. The diagonal presentation and simple border make a great image.

Very clever Ronnie, like the backlighting bringing out the lovely colours in the leaf, simple red frame sets it off very nicely being thin not thick, well thought out from beginning to the end product, nice one really like that!, so many good photo's today and yours are at the top of the list, regards Leon.![]()

This is the finest of the autumnal colours. Better than the yellows and pure reds, this orange-red is the most striking nature gives us at this time of the year.
Been a while since the kitchen studio was used, Ronnie...good to see its results again.

An ace acer image Ronnie, the black background really shows the glorious colour of this leaf at its best
